2010's Projects
The 2010’s was an exciting time for us as we branched out into developments like our biggest site yet The Point in New Islington and the local hotspot Astley Point. During this period we also completed charming bespoke developments like Bridge House and Oak Lea Gardens.
Oak Lea Gardens
This wonderful 15 house estate was completed by Redwaters in early 2020
Astley Point
With 4 restaurants, a wine bar and 28 dwellings, Astley Point provides homes, good food and good times to the people of astley.
Rippondale Vale
Ripponden Vale is an exclusive development on the site of a former garage at Dam Top. The spacious three and four bedroom houses overlook the River Ryburn, and houses in the first phase have gardens and a woodland area.
Bridge House, Thelwall
Consisting of 8 houses including a historic farmhouse Bridge House was a successful development in the picturesque village of Thelwall in Cheshire.
The Point | New Islington
The Point is our largest development to date! Located next to the marina at Cotton Field Park it included 13 houses and over 100 apartments .
Astley Brook
The addition of 44 houses to the village of Astley was a roaring success with all residents moved in by summer 2015 with work beginning in 2014
Meadow Rise
Our project in Warton consisted of 9 houses in Preston
Riverside Court
Our first project in Ripponden was a great success with 8 townhouses in a gated community

The Village, Green Lane
This gated estate in Leigh consisted of 9 houses.
2000's Projects
We continued to grow and develop during the 2000’s, unfortunately during this period we lost our founder Joe McCaul when he passed away in 2005 but he would be overjoyed to see what he created is still going and his words ‘The job’s the boss’ are still remembered in the Redwaters ethos today.
Kirkham Road
This was a challenging site because of the long and narrow shape of the land. It was a former farm yard so we designed contemporary barn style houses in keeping with surrounding farm buildings.
Astley House
We have got a soft spot for this scheme because it’s where we used to work, and it won us an urban design award from Wigan Council.
Draper House
A former haulage yard that was also used for caravan storage. Not the prettiest of sites until our clever architects and builders got to work.
Cavan House
This office block we built also served as our own offices for a while!
Abbeycroft Close
In 2002 we built this lovely Georgian estate.
Grasmere Street
Grasmere Street consisted of 7 bungalows in Leigh
Waterhouse Court
We built 12 flats on the canal front in Leigh in 2002.
Coldalhurst Lane
In 2002 we built 4 houses down a country lane in Astley.
Inglenook Court
This development from Redwaters turned two derelict schools blocks into prestigious apartments and bungalows
1990's Projects
The 1990’s was a period of big evolution for Redwaters as 1990 was when our MD, Sean McCaul, joined his fathers business and 5 years later became Managing Director.
Havenscroft Avenue
This 1990’s development was built in Eccles.
Stowe Gardens
One of our earlier bungalow sites in Leigh, Stowe Gardens consisted of 7 bungalows.
Brancaster Drive
One of our bigger sites in Lowton, 47 houses were built during this development.
Lawrence Court
Built in Wigan, this cul-de-sac estate contained 16 houses.
Meadowbank Gardens
With stunning river views and a charming estate, our development in Meadowbank Gardens created one of the premier places to live in Glazebury.
Redwater House
This office space in Leigh still bares the Redwaters name today!
Brooklands Avenue
We built 10 houses in the early nineties added onto Brooklands Avenue.
South Gardens
To kick of the nineties we built these 6 bungalows in Astley that were once home to our MD Sean!
