Description

Astley Brook was the first sizeable new housing development in the village of Astley, Wigan,  for over 10 years and proved an instant success. The 44 houses were snapped up by families, couples and individuals almost as soon as work started in 2014,  and everyone had moved in by the summer of 2015.

The site  – on the doorstep of our offices – is made up of detached and semi-detached houses and a few bungalows,  and  surrounded by fields and farmland.  It has excellent transport links to Manchester and Liverpool,  thanks to the nearby East  Lancashire Road, which links the two cities.

The houses were designed to fit in with the surrounding countryside and we think it is  a really attractive site .  Astley, like nearby Worsley, sits northwest of Manchester,  and is an up-and-coming sort after village with  something for all ages
